About the Role

This firm seeks an accomplished professional to join their esteemed Trust Team in a pivotal role. The successful candidate will report directly to Directors and Partners, managing a diverse portfolio that encompasses charitable trusts.

Key responsibilities include overseeing a range of UK resident and charitable trusts, ensuring timely completion of annual accounts and tax compliance. The role involves reviewing team members' work, contributing to their professional development, and providing mentorship. Additionally, the position entails assisting with advisory services, including high-level taxation and Inheritance Tax guidance.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with tax, accounts, and financial planning departments to maintain a cohesive approach. They will also be responsible for budget monitoring, managing personal chargeability, and fee note generation.

While experience in charitable trusts, probate work, and estate accounts is beneficial, our client offers opportunities for growth in these areas. Proficiency in CCH Trust Accounts and CCH Personal Tax software is advantageous, as the firm utilises CCH Practice Management System.

Candidates should possess CTA and/or STEP qualifications, or demonstrate a commitment to pursuing STEP certification. Essential attributes include a robust understanding of trusts, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The role demands flexibility, dependability, initiative, motivation, and resilience.
