Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm is in search of a Senior Manager to contribute expertise in tax advisory and support for its asset management and wealth clientele. The primary responsibilities of this role include providing high-level tax guidance, overseeing a team of tax specialists, ensuring strict adherence to tax regulations, and crafting innovative tax strategies aimed at optimising client portfolios. A comprehensive understanding of the financial services sector, especially within asset and wealth management, is essential to achieving outstanding results and maintaining exceptional client service.

KEY DUTIES:
- Leading and managing a team of tax professionals to deliver high-quality tax services.
- Providing technical tax support and guidance to clients in the asset management and wealth sectors.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations and legislation.
- Developing and implementing innovative tax strategies to optimise client portfolios.
- Conducting internal quality control reviews and managing the firm's internal tax reporting.
- Performing due diligence on potential acquisitions and assisting with client advisory projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience in financial services tax, with a focus on asset management and wealth.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- A professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA).
