This firm seeks an accomplished professional to join its Large Corporate division as a Tax Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in corporate taxation, with a particular focus on international tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be tasked with managing complex tax computations for large UK entities, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and optimising the use of available tax reliefs. They will provide crucial support for businesses expanding into emerging markets and coordinate overseas tax compliance with local advisors. The role involves drafting advisory reports on various international and large corporate matters, including tax-efficient structuring, legal entity simplification, and compliance with transfer pricing regulations.

Additional duties include assisting with tax investigations, interpreting new UK legislation, cultivating client relationships, and mentoring junior team members. The specialist will also contribute to firm-wide initiatives such as tax technology developments and growth strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates should hold a CA or equivalent qualification, along with ATT/CTA certification or comparable expertise. Those with a CA and a commitment to pursuing CTA or ADIT may also be considered. A minimum of four years' experience in UK corporate tax, specifically with multinational groups, is required. Proficiency in managing international tax projects from inception to completion is essential.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional, technical, and proactive approach to client service, coupled with strong communication and project management skills. Flexibility and effective time management are crucial for success in this dynamic role.
