About the Role
Opportunity in a Fast-growing Top-Tier Accounting firm.
The main function of this role is to provide comprehensive employment tax support to the firm's clients. The responsibilities also include advising on employment tax issues, managing compliance matters, and assisting with the implementation of tax-efficient remuneration strategies.
KEY DUTIES:
- Advising clients on employment tax matters, including PAYE, NIC, and benefits-in-kind.
- Managing compliance processes and ensuring timely submission of tax returns.
- Assisting clients with tax-efficient remuneration planning and implementation.
- Conducting internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Providing training and support to junior staff members.
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve tax issues and queries.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in employment tax within a professional services firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of PAYE, NIC, and benefits-in-kind.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
