The VAT Manager will serve as the primary liaison for client relationships, engaging with them regularly to identify challenges and propose effective solutions. Collaboration with directors and managers across departments on client assignments is essential, ensuring clear communication of progress and prompt escalation of any issues. The role involves cultivating relationships with both existing and prospective clients, expanding one's professional network to identify new business opportunities.

As a recognised technical expert, the VAT Manager will share knowledge both internally and externally, while managing team members in accordance with our firm's culture and values. Participation in formal training, including on-the-job learning, is expected.

Key responsibilities encompass team management, client experience enhancement, and business development. The ideal candidate will possess full qualifications (either through relevant certifications or extensive experience), demonstrate strong people management skills, and exhibit proficiency in VAT advisory services, including cross-border knowledge. Project management expertise, excellent communication abilities, and potentially specialised industry knowledge are also crucial.

The VAT Manager will oversee team members while receiving guidance from associates and directors. Externally, the role requires building and maintaining robust client relationships to identify opportunities and establish a professional network that leverages expertise to add value for clients.
