Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm seeks a US/UK Tax Manager to join them. The main function of this role is to provide expert tax support and guidance in both US and UK tax jurisdictions. The responsibilities include overseeing the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws, and advising on tax planning strategies.

Additionally, the role involves liaising with clients to understand their tax needs and providing tailored solutions to optimise their tax positions. The successful candidate will also conduct internal quality control reviews and support the firm's internal tax reporting processes.

KEY DUTIES:
- Preparing and reviewing complex US and UK tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws in both jurisdictions
- Providing strategic tax planning advice to clients to optimise their tax positions
- Conducting internal quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Managing the firm's internal tax reporting processes
- Liaising with clients to understand their tax needs and provide tailored solutions

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Extensive experience in both US and UK tax preparation and compliance
- Strong knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations in both jurisdictions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
