About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm seeks a highly skilled Tax Senior to serve as the primary point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in US tax, demonstrating proficiency in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, overseeing the entire compliance process
- Analyse and interpret emerging tax legislation
- Identify tax planning opportunities and potential issues
- Collaborate on consultancy projects with senior staff
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge
- Liaise with external professionals in related fields
- Develop managerial skills
Qualifications:
- Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) certification required
- US tax qualification (Enrolled Agent or CPA) preferred
- Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification desirable
- Proven experience in a similar role within a tax practice
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of personal and corporate taxation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of numerical proficiency
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient IT skills
