This firm’s distinguished Tax and Trusts team is seeking a Trust Manager to provide comprehensive support to the Trust Director, Partners, and other team members. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of trusts, ensuring efficient trust administration and maintaining accurate time recording on client matters in line with the firm’s protocols.

The role is operational, requiring meticulous attention to trust management tasks, including coordination of annual trust accounts, tax returns, and overseeing compliance with regulatory updates.

The team supports:

  • Tax planning for individuals and wealth management
  • Succession planning to ensure smooth wealth transfer between generations
  • Establishment and administration of trusts and related entities
  • Governance advisory for family-owned enterprises
  • Trust dispute resolution
  • Will drafting and estate planning

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant or solicitor with experience in trust administration, demonstrating strong communication, organisational, and administrative skills.

The role requires:

  • Expertise in trust account coordination and tax compliance
  • Interaction with HMRC, trustees, beneficiaries, and investment managers
  • Oversight of payments, billing, and trust registration updates
