About the Role
Opportunity in a Leading firm.
This firm seeks a qualified tax professional to join them. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to large corporations. The position primarily focuses on providing guidance regarding the tax implications of corporate reconstructions and mergers and acquisitions.
Key responsibilities include managing tax advisory projects, overseeing the preparation of tax structuring advice and HMRC clearance applications, coordinating tax due diligence reports, and contributing to the firm's business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant tax qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent) and demonstrate experience in advising on corporate transactions and their tax implications.
Essential skills include strong report writing abilities, a thorough understanding of business tax considerations related to corporate reconstructions, and knowledge of corporation tax, shareholder and capital gains taxes. Familiarity with indirect taxes (stamp duty, stamp duty land tax, and VAT) is preferred but not mandatory. The role requires some travel between offices.
