About the Role

Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm, a leading professional services firm, seeks an experienced Tax Technology Manager to join their expanding Financial Services team. This role involves delivering innovative solutions to address complex technological and data challenges faced by financial institutions in the digital age.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years' experience in technology, data, or business transformation roles, preferably within a top-tier consultancy or financial institution. A strong background in financial services, particularly in Banking & Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, or Insurance, is essential.

Key responsibilities include developing tax data strategies, implementing operating model transformations, and delivering sustainable solutions to address regulatory challenges. The role also involves supporting the delivery of proprietary technology assets under SaaS and managed service models.

Successful applicants will demonstrate proficiency in at least two of the following areas: operating model design, core data concepts, software engineering methodologies, database management, or business requirements gathering. Strong project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite are mandatory.

The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage complex projects and remote teams, and a self-starter mentality. Candidates should be prepared to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.

Additional desirable qualifications include experience with cloud platforms, automation technologies, and formal project management or process improvement certifications. Knowledge of tax regulations and processes is advantageous.
