About the Role

Opportunity in a National Practice.

This firm is seeking a dedicated Accounts and Tax Senior to join its Leicester office, working under the direct supervision of the Director and senior management. The role involves assisting clients primarily with management and year-end accounts, with additional project opportunities as they arise. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to gain comprehensive experience in both compliance and advisory work.

Key responsibilities include producing account working files, addressing client queries, preparing tax computations, ensuring compliance with HMRC, and adhering to the firm’s professional standards. Candidates will also contribute to tax advisory projects, seek opportunities for client growth, and participate in ongoing technical and personal development training.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an accountancy practice, mixed tax experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Iris and Xero is beneficial but not required. Candidates should possess strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the drive to succeed and ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualifications.
