About the Role
Opportunity in a Leading International firm.
This firm seeks a Tax Disputes Manager to join them. This role is to manage and resolve complex tax disputes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and providing strategic advice to clients. The responsibilities also include representing clients in negotiations with tax authorities, preparing detailed reports and documentation, and staying updated with the latest tax laws and regulations.
This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
KEY DUTIES:
- Managing and resolving complex tax disputes with HMRC and other tax authorities
- Providing strategic advice and support to clients on tax dispute matters
- Preparing detailed reports, documentation, and correspondence related to tax disputes
- Representing clients in negotiations and meetings with tax authorities
- Staying updated with the latest tax laws, regulations, and case law developments
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure comprehensive client service
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Extensive experience in tax dispute resolution and management
- Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, or equivalent
