Opportunity in a Leading International firm.
This firm is looking for a Tax Disputes Manager to join their team. The role involves managing and resolving complex tax disputes while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Key responsibilities include providing strategic advice to clients, representing them in negotiations with tax authorities, preparing detailed reports and documentation, and staying up to date with the latest tax laws and regulations.
This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
KEY DUTIES:
- Managing and resolving complex tax disputes with HMRC and other tax authorities
- Providing strategic advice and support to clients on tax dispute matters
- Preparing detailed reports, documentation, and correspondence related to tax disputes
- Representing clients in negotiations and meetings with tax authorities
- Staying updated with the latest tax laws, regulations, and case law developments
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure comprehensive client service
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Extensive experience in tax dispute resolution and management
- Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, or equivalent
