This firm is seeking an experienced tax professional to manage a portfolio of clients within the Privately Owned Business sector. The role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring the accurate review and approval of corporation tax computations, and managing tax accounting responsibilities. The candidate will also be required to perform tax assurance reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy.
A key aspect of this role is financial management, including negotiating fees and overseeing work-in-progress within the client portfolio. The individual will actively identify tax opportunities for clients and collaborate with tax partners and the broader tax team to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience managing a portfolio of clients and handling their annual corporation tax reporting obligations. They should hold an ATT qualification (or equivalent) and demonstrate a solid understanding of tax principles, supported by broad technical tax knowledge. Experience in managing client financials, delivering within budget constraints, and negotiating fees is essential. Furthermore, the individual should have the ability to identify business development opportunities within the tax arena and, ideally, across other service lines.
