This position involves providing expert advice on various corporate tax matters. Key Responsibilities:

The tax team advises on the structuring and execution of transactions, both domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will provide guidance on tax matters related to:

  • Structured real estate transactions
  • Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate deals
  • Funds, including hedge, debt, real estate, and other asset classes
  • International tax structures and cross-border transactions
  • Structured finance, Islamic finance, and capital markets
  • Insolvency, restructuring, and relevant VAT/indirect tax issues

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to practice in the UK (England and Wales preferred)
  • Strong academic background
  • Broad experience in corporate tax, ideally within a major City or large regional firm
  • Experience in real estate and corporate transaction tax is advantageous
  • Additional expertise in funds taxation, financial transaction taxation, or tax accounting is beneficial
