Senior, Tax Disputes

Opportunity in an Small firm.

This firm is seeking a committed and skilled Tax Resolutions Senior to join its team. The successful candidate will have a solid background or strong interest in taxation, accountancy, legal services, or a related technical discipline, such as engineering or IT, gained either through academic qualifications or relevant professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Possess a minimum of two years' experience in Tax or Research & Development (R&D).
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills.
• Exhibit a high degree of literacy and writing proficiency.
• Display a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Show interest in a variety of business sectors.
• Maintain a proactive, ambitious approach, with a desire to acquire new competencies.
• Confidently engage with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
• Excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Work independently, managing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hold a valid UK driver's license and be willing to undertake occasional travel across the country.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with R&D Tax Credits and familiarity with the tax claim process.
• Knowledge of handling HMRC enquiries or resolving legal disputes.
