The primary focus of this position is to deliver high-quality transactions tax advice and services to clients, including due diligence, structuring, and post-deal integration. You will be instrumental in shaping the firm's approach to transactions tax, working closely with senior leadership and clients to drive value and ensure compliance.
KEY DUTIES:
- Providing comprehensive transactions tax advice and support to clients
- Conducting detailed due diligence and risk assessments for potential transactions
- Developing and implementing tax-efficient structures for mergers and acquisitions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless post-deal integration
- Staying abreast of changes in tax legislation and ensuring clients are informed and compliant
- Mentoring and developing junior team members to build a robust transactions tax practice
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
- Extensive experience in transactions tax, ideally within a professional services firm
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and its application to transactions
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent
