About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm is offering a distinguished opportunity for a driven professional to join its Management Taxes team. The selected candidate will collaborate with our esteemed clients and intermediaries, providing a significant platform to enhance their professional network and contribute to the acquisition of new business.
Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the issues affecting management teams, with a strong command of the employment-related securities regime and deep expertise in capital gains and income tax matters pertinent to individuals involved in transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and sustain client relationships.
- Engage in proactive business development to secure new engagements.
- Oversee the successful execution of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring both technical rigor and a practical, business-oriented approach.
- Provide developmental support to junior team members through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
- Contribute to team retention and training initiatives.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Client-focused with strategic and commercial insight.
- Strong technical expertise in management taxes.
- Excellent client relationship management and the ability to deliver high-quality results.
- Skilled in negotiation, able to defend positions and manage challenges.
- Proven ability to identify and convert business development opportunities.
- Strong time management, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Extensive experience advising a diverse range of clients, including AIM-listed, PE-backed, family-owned, and OMB entities, with specific expertise in implementing management incentive or share option plans.
Qualifications:
- ACA / CTA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training, Law qualification, Tax specialist qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in management taxes and business development.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff.

- Proficiency in project management, including planning, prioritisation, and budget management.
- Creative and pragmatic problem-solving abilities.
