About the Role

Opportunity in a Leading International firm.

This firm is looking for a Senior Tax Manager in Investment Management to join their team. The position involves delivering expert tax guidance to UK and global asset managers, as well as the funds under their management.

The responsibilities also include leading and managing UK and international corporate tax advisory projects, post-transaction support, and compliance obligations. The role also involves managing the preparation of tax provisions, ensuring tax reporting obligations and compliance deadlines are met, and developing and leading a diverse client portfolio.

KEY DUTIES:

- Providing highly technical tax advice to UK and multinational asset managers and the funds they manage, including transaction and tax structuring support
- Leading and managing UK and international corporate tax advisory projects, post-transaction support, and compliance obligations
- Managing the preparation of tax provisions and ensuring tax reporting obligations and compliance deadlines are met
- Developing and leading a diverse client portfolio, ensuring a high level of client service
- Working closely with colleagues across the firm's tax practice, Financial Services Industry, and international network to identify opportunities from both new and existing clients
- Actively contributing to business development activities by proactively managing existing relationships and pitching work to new clients

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

- Professional qualification (CTA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Confidence in managing a portfolio of clients
- Strong technical knowledge in UK and international corporate tax
- Experience in providing tax advice to asset managers and funds
- Proven ability to train and develop junior team members
