About the Role
Opportunity in an Independent firm.
This firm seeks a Senior Manager to join them. The chosen candidate will focus on Employment Taxes, Global Mobility, and Employment-Related Securities, bringing substantial experience in both compliance and advisory projects. A broad understanding of interconnected tax issues is essential, along with a demonstrated commitment to professional growth and collaboration within a motivated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting transactional work as needed.
- Addressing daily tax-related queries from clients and colleagues.
- Conducting employment tax due diligence for company acquisitions.
- Assisting with Global Mobility issues, including ITEPA, NICs, and cross-border matters.
- Leading Employment-Related Securities compliance filings.
- Offering expertise in the Construction Industry Scheme.
- Preparing advisory reports and memoranda.
- Researching technical tax matters and presenting findings concisely.
- Staying informed on relevant technical and legislative changes, and sharing updates with the team and wider firm.
- Assisting in the creation of technical and marketing materials for both internal and external purposes.
- Contributing to the development of this sector within the firm.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Qualifications:
- CTA qualification required.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in most areas outlined in the key responsibilities.
- Broader tax knowledge is advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive approach.
