About the Role

This firm seeks an accomplished professional to join their specialised corporate tax division. The role involves close collaboration with the Corporate Tax leadership team and regional colleagues. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical proficiency to deliver exceptional client service, mentor junior staff, and contribute to complex compliance and advisory projects. Additionally, the position offers opportunities to expand the firm's business portfolio.

The diverse client base encompasses a wide range of corporate and business sectors, including small enterprises, large-scale organizations with substantial turnover, owner-managed businesses, international subsidiaries, charitable institutions, and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs).

Essential qualifications include recent professional services experience, comprehensive corporate and business tax knowledge, and relevant qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or ATT (with the possibility of CTA support). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong tax compliance, advisory, and technical planning capabilities, coupled with advanced proficiency in Excel and Word. Familiarity with Alphatax or CCH software is advantageous.

This firm values excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a self-motivated approach to work. Extensive experience in corporate and business taxation within a professional environment is crucial. Expertise in areas such as Corporation Tax Returns, remuneration planning, business acquisitions and disposals, group restructuring, R&D tax credits, and cross-border issues is highly desirable. The role may also involve participation in tax due diligence and M&A transactions in conjunction with the Corporate Finance team.
