Opportunity in a Leading International firm.

This firm seeks a Senior Manager to join their Private Business corporate tax team. They are offering a dynamic role with a varied client base, ranging from owner-managed businesses to private equity-backed enterprises.

The main function of this role is to provide expert tax advice and support to a broad range of clients, encompassing both compliance and advisory projects. The responsibilities include actively participating in client meetings, delivering high-quality tax advice, and managing client expectations and deadlines. This role also involves leading client work, collaborating with the wider Tax teams, and developing junior team members. Additionally, the role requires providing innovative solutions to client tax issues and actively engaging in business development activities.

KEY DUTIES:

- Advising a diverse range of clients on various tax issues, covering both compliance and advisory projects
- Actively participating in client meetings, confidently addressing client queries
- Building trust and respect with clients by delivering high-quality tax advice and meeting deadlines
- Leading client work and engaging with the wider Tax teams to ensure appropriate skill utilisation on all projects
- Mentoring and developing junior team members, supporting their career aspirations
- Providing intelligent and creative solutions to client tax issues, and promoting cross-selling of wider solutions within the firm
- Leading on pitches and proposals, actively growing the business by showcasing the firm's capabilities to clients and targets

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience
- Confidence in managing a portfolio of entrepreneurial business clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members
