About the Role

Opportunity in a Leading International firm.

This firm seeks an Alternative Funds Tax Senior Manager to join them.  The main function of this role is to provide expert tax advice and guidance within the alternative funds sector.

The responsibilities also include overseeing tax compliance and reporting, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the firm remains compliant with evolving tax regulations. The successful candidate will also play a pivotal role in strategic tax planning and risk management, contributing to the firm's overall growth and success.

KEY DUTIES:

- Providing comprehensive tax advice and support to the alternative funds team
- Overseeing tax compliance and reporting for alternative fund structures
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tax authorities and auditors
- Ensuring compliance with current and emerging tax regulations
- Leading strategic tax planning initiatives to optimise tax positions
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

- Extensive experience in alternative funds tax, preferably within a professional services firm or financial institution
- Strong technical knowledge of UK and international tax regulations related to alternative funds
- Proven track record of managing tax compliance and reporting processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent
