About the Role

Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm seeks accomplished tax professionals to join them. The ideal candidates will possess extensive experience at the Manager or Senior Manager level, with a strong background in transaction tax and M&A.

In this role, professionals will gain comprehensive exposure to all aspects of the deal cycle, including tax structuring, due diligence, funds flows, SPA reviews, and refinancings. Our team members develop not only technical expertise in UK taxation but also a commercial understanding of client priorities in transactional contexts. Given the cross-border nature of our work, individuals will have early opportunities to engage with international structuring techniques and foreign tax regimes.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality tax services, fostering client relationships, contributing to business development efforts, and ensuring technical excellence with a practical focus. Successful candidates will manage complex transaction tax projects, oversee client service quality, and play a significant role in team strategy and operations.

The position requires strong client relationship management skills, negotiation abilities, and business development acumen. Candidates should demonstrate effective time management, mentoring capabilities, and the ability to remain composed under pressure. A robust knowledge of transaction/M&A tax is essential.

Qualifications include ACA/ATT/CTA, international equivalent, or a law degree, along with relevant transaction tax experience. Our firm offers opportunities for professional growth and exposure to diverse, challenging projects in a dynamic environment.
