Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm is seeking a Senior Advisor to join its Transfer Pricing team, offering the opportunity to collaborate with a globally integrated network of specialists with backgrounds in economics, tax authority, law, and commerce. The role involves technically challenging and creative work that requires close engagement with clients' businesses. With an increased focus on managing double taxation risks and establishing appropriate inter-company arrangements, this position is central to supporting clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the team and clients to gain insights into the commercial operations of banks, asset managers, and insurance businesses.
  • Working closely with transfer pricing and tax teams across various countries, often conducting analyses and evaluations with a multi-jurisdictional impact.
  • Gaining a detailed understanding of inter-company transaction pricing and intra-enterprise pricing under the OECD’s authorised approach.
  • Developing writing skills to produce structured, logical technical content in situations where templates or reference materials may be limited.
  • Analysing financial information and public data to assess comparable pricing scenarios.
  • Assisting with the creation of client-specific business development materials.

Qualifications and Experience:

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

  • Experience as a tax practitioner with strong reviewing skills.
  • Qualifications such as ATT, ACA, CA, or CTA (or equivalent knowledge, including legal qualifications).
  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A background in transfer pricing advisory projects or work with financial services clients.
