Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the real estate tax advisory services for a varied client base, including property developers, investors, and funds.
- Provide expert advice on tax implications related to property acquisitions, disposals, leasing, financing, and structuring.
- Lead tax planning initiatives and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to current legislation and proactive management of upcoming changes.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering insights and tailored solutions to enhance client value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated tax and accounting services.
- Support junior team members through mentorship, training, and fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Contribute to business development activities, identifying new opportunities and promoting the firm’s real estate tax capabilities.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise in real estate tax within a professional services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations impacting real estate transactions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to tax planning and advisory.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing both client relationships and team members.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
