The role centres on delivering expert tax advisory services for a wide array of corporate transactions and real estate projects. The team combines robust analytical skills with a business-centric approach, addressing various tax matters including VAT, Stamp Duty, and SDLT. Comprising both tax lawyers and chartered tax advisors, the team provides practical, tailored solutions to a diverse clientele, such as owner-managed businesses, private equity firms, real estate investors, and funds. The core responsibilities include advising on business exits, offshore structuring, corporate reorganisations, and employment tax issues, with a focus on redundancy planning.

KEY DUTIES:
- Delivering comprehensive tax guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring
- Advising clients on SDLT, VAT, and employment tax issues
- Offering clear, actionable insights on a wide range of tax topics
- Leveraging analytical and commercial skills to support tax planning in corporate transactions
- Collaborating with tax lawyers and advisors to develop robust tax strategies
- Assisting with planning for exit strategies, offshore structures, and employee remuneration packages

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience as a tax professional
- Proven success in advising on tax aspects of corporate transactions
- In-depth knowledge of SDLT, VAT, and employment tax regulations
- Strong analytical capabilities paired with a solid business-focused perspective
- Ability to offer practical, clear tax advice
