Opportunity in a Top 50 firm.
This firm seeks a skilled tax professional to oversee a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients. The successful candidate will ensure timely filing of returns while delivering a proactive and cost-effective taxation service. The role encompasses managing personal and trust tax matters, preparing various tax-related documents, and offering ad-hoc advisory services.
Key responsibilities include overseeing personal and trust tax clients, reviewing tax returns prepared by junior staff, handling P11Ds and PAYE Settlement Agreements, and preparing Capital Gains Tax returns for residential property sales. The position requires providing tailored taxation services that meet client needs and regulatory requirements, as well as supporting managers in staff development and technical research.
Our ideal candidate possesses relevant qualifications (ATT/ACA/CTA) or equivalent experience, with a minimum of two years in personal tax. Familiarity with other tax areas is advantageous but not mandatory. Essential qualities include effective communication skills, both with clients and colleagues, and exceptional time management abilities to meet strict deadlines.
