About the Role

Opportunity in a Boutique firm.

This independent leading firm seeks a seasoned tax professional for a dynamic role blending compliance and advisory services, with a focus on non-UK domicile cases. This position involves managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients while providing support to private client partners.

Key responsibilities encompass overseeing a varied client base, including non-domiciled individuals, high-net-worth individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and offshore trusts. The role demands expertise in advisory work, covering inheritance tax planning, residence issues, pre-arrival planning, and offshore structures. The professional will be expected to prepare for and attend client meetings, set budgets, and ensure timely project completion.

The position requires proficiency in handling routine and ad-hoc tax matters, including correspondence with HM Revenue & Customs regarding inquiries and disclosures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and initiative in managing client affairs. Additional duties include overseeing tax return preparation, billing, time management, and contributing to business development initiatives.

Our client offers the opportunity to work with advanced tax software and collaborate within a dynamic team environment. The successful applicant must possess CTA qualification and a minimum of five years of private client tax experience, with particular emphasis on non-domiciled individuals and offshore structures. Strong communication, organisational, and computer skills are essential, as is commercial awareness.
