About the Role
Opportunity in a Leading Professional Services firm.
This firm seeks a skilled and dynamic Partner to lead the UK Employment Taxes practice across the Midlands. The role involves close collaboration with other tax disciplines, particularly the Shares and Global Mobility teams.
The successful candidate will work directly with a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, offering advisory services and ensuring compliance in Employment Taxes.
Key Responsibilities:
The Employer Solutions team is expanding its presence in the Central & West region as part of a strategic national growth initiative. Recent additions to senior Employment Tax roles across the UK have driven substantial growth, tapping into new client opportunities.
This position aims to enhance the firm's presence in the region by developing and marketing the Employer Solutions services to both existing clients and new prospects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering internal collaboration, building cross-selling relationships, and leading the regional team to meet client needs effectively.
Role Expectations:
- Oversee the regional Employment Tax team, ensuring open communication, conducting appraisals, and guiding team members to enhance skills and service quality.
- Collaborate with regional tax professionals, reporting to the Midlands Partner and the National Head of Employment Taxes, and engaging with the Regional Head of Tax.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, attending client meetings, and providing technical advisory services.
- Identify business development opportunities and promote cross-selling within the firm.
- Participate in the Employer Solutions national team to influence strategy, share best practices, and contribute to the firm’s growth across regions.
Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in Employment Taxes, demonstrated leadership in senior roles, and a proven track record of delivering presentations and technical sessions. The role also involves contributing to the strategic growth of the national Employer Solutions team through collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
