About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm seeks a qualified and experienced Tax Manager with a deep interest in the fields of Banking, Insurance, and/or Wealth & Asset Management. This position presents an exceptional opportunity to enhance and expand industry knowledge by joining a team committed to providing comprehensive advisory services. The role offers exposure to a broad range of advisory engagements, from smaller, inbound clients to large, multinational corporations.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of client relationships by delivering outstanding client service, managing the successful completion of tax projects, and ensuring a technically proficient, practical, and business-oriented approach.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities, applying knowledge gained from prior projects, technical training, and knowledge-sharing sessions to inform project outcomes and enhance proposal quality.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, using relationship skills to create networks within the Banking, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management sectors.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members through effective delegation and on-the-job training.

Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in international tax
- Possession of relevant qualifications such as ACA, CTA, a legal qualification, or equivalent
- Proven experience in people management
- Experience coaching and developing junior team members
- Experience working with clients in financial services
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in project management, including planning, prioritising, meeting deadlines, and monitoring project budgets
