This firm seeks a Tax Manager to join their Leeds office. They are offering a dynamic role with the chance to work on high-profile clients in an ever-evolving tax landscape.

The primary focus of this role is to manage and deliver complex tax compliance and reporting engagements, alongside related consulting projects. Responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining client relationships, overseeing tax audit engagements, and providing exceptional client service. The role also involves collaboration with other tax specialist teams and contributing to the development of staff through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring. Additionally, the Corporate Tax Manager will lead team initiatives to ensure the success of the team.

KEY DUTIES:


- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with both existing and new clients
- Managing the successful delivery of technically complex tax compliance and reporting engagements
- Participating in tax audit engagements
- Providing exceptional client service
- Collaborating with other tax specialist teams
- Supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff to aid their development

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:


- Significant experience in corporate tax from practice or an in-house tax background
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Proficiency in negotiation and stakeholder management
- Business development skills, with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
- Effective time management and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
