About the Role

Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm is seeking an experienced and driven Corporate Tax Manager to join their London office. Due to significant growth, they have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
Manage the successful delivery of technically complex compliance and reporting engagements, as well as any related consulting projects
Provide exceptional client service and ensure the quality of work delivered
Collaborate with other tax specialist teams to deliver comprehensive solutions
Build internal networks and relationships
Lead team initiatives, including the supervision, coaching, and mentoring of staff

Skills and Attributes:

Extensive experience in Corporate Tax, either from a professional practice or an in-house tax background
Excellent client relationship management skills
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
Business development skills, with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
Effective time management and the ability to remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines
Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, in a range of situations
Enthusiasm for teamwork and the ability to create and sustain effective teams
Experience in coaching and developing more junior staff
Commitment to delivering high-quality work

Qualifications:

ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA; or Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training Course; or Law qualification
Degree-qualified
Proven experience as a corporate tax practitioner
Expertise in tax accounting/tax audit
Demonstrable ability to interpret existing and new tax statute

Desirable Skills:

Proficient in project management, including planning, prioritising, and budget monitoring
