Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm seeks a Restructuring & Insolvency Tax Manager to join their specialised team, offering an opportunity to deepen knowledge of UK tax regulations and gain insight into commercial considerations relevant to transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional tax advisory services.
Contribute to business development efforts by managing client accounts and assisting in the acquisition of new clients.
Oversee the successful execution of tax projects, ensuring both technical accuracy and practical application tailored to business needs.
Optimise the value of tax services provided, while carefully managing related risks.
Maintain a strategic, client-centric perspective, informed by commercial awareness.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, adapting to a variety of professional settings.
Expand and nurture internal and external networks to support the growth and effectiveness of the team.
Mentor and guide junior staff through supervision, training, and support, ensuring their professional development.
Play an integral role in shaping team strategy and operations, particularly through oversight of junior staff and management of work allocation.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in UK tax, with a focus on Restructuring Tax and proven review capabilities.
ACA/ATT/CTA qualification or international equivalent, or a legal certification.
A university degree is required.

Preferred Skills

Strong project management skills, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines while managing personal budgets and time.
Experience with UK tax compliance.
