As part of its ongoing expansion, this firm seeks an experienced Tax Manager to join the team in Manchester. The role is integral to supporting the continued growth of the organisation. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, delivering innovative client services, and leading projects, while managing teams and work streams. 

Tax Manager Role Overview:

As a Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include preparing government incentive claims and drafting technical reports to support R&D projects. You will manage client portfolios, ensuring seamless project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Additionally, you will oversee junior staff development, respond to HMRC queries, and identify business growth opportunities. A strong understanding of UK R&D tax credits and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ATT/CTA part-qualified with experience in R&D
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Ability to coach and develop team members
