This firm seeks a seasoned Personal Tax Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of clients and ensure timely, accurate tax filings. The ideal candidate will provide strategic, cost-effective taxation services while assisting in daily team management and offering specialised tax advisory support as needed.

Key responsibilities include managing complex and contentious personal and trust tax cases, reviewing work produced by junior team members, and delivering proactive, efficient services that meet both client needs and regulatory requirements. The role involves mentoring less experienced staff, conducting research, drafting advice on private client and employment tax matters, and collaborating across departments to maintain exceptional client service standards.

The successful applicant will work closely with senior management to refine processes, enhance efficiency, and improve systems. They will possess at least four years of post-qualification experience in personal tax, preferably with CTA certification. Strong communication skills, excellent time management abilities, and a commercial mindset are essential. Experience in line management and team supervision is required, while advisory expertise and knowledge of other tax areas are advantageous.
