About the Role

Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm seeks a UK Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. They offer a supportive environment with excellent prospects for career advancement, including potential promotion to Senior Manager and beyond.

The role involves providing comprehensive tax advisory services to a diverse client base, including international high net worth individuals, family offices, private equity and hedge fund principals, and high-profile professional partnerships. Responsibilities include tax return compliance, advising on residence and domicile issues, transaction and reorganisation advice, wealth optimisation from a tax perspective, and estate and succession tax advice. Experience with non-domiciled individuals is essential.

KEY DUTIES:
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Establishing and developing relationships with colleagues within the wider practice
- Managing a client portfolio and all related issues
- Attending client meetings
- Developing and mentoring junior staff
- Reviewing and signing out tax returns
- Managing work in progress, debtors, and bills

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- ATT / CTA, or equivalent qualified by experience
- Previous experience at Assistant Manager/Manager level 
- Experience with non-UK domiciled individuals, including arising and remittance basis tax returns and mixed fund analysis
- Solid, comprehensive, and up-to-date UK private client tax knowledge
- Experience managing a client portfolio

This firm values strong communication and organisational skills, technical writing proficiency, and the ability to work accurately and to time-based targets. Experience with clients with US connections and offshore trust matters is desirable.
