Senior Manager, OMB Tax

This firm seeks a Senior Tax Manager to join them.  They are offering both full-time and part-time positions with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

The main function of this role is to provide technical tax support and guidance to the firm's accounts partners. The responsibilities also include conducting internal quality control reviews, managing the firm's internal tax reporting, and performing due diligence on potential acquisitions. Although the team does not serve external clients, it occasionally assists with client advisory projects as required.

Key duties of the Senior Tax Advisor / Manager encompass:

• Conducting internal reviews for corporate and personal tax files
• Assisting partners with technical tax inquiries
• Supporting internal tax reporting processes
• Contributing to due diligence efforts in acquisitions
• Providing support on tax advisory projects
• Undertaking technical tax research as needed

Qualifications for this role include:

• Preferably holding ACCA, ACA, or CTA qualifications
• Substantial experience in accountancy or tax practice, ideally encompassing both compliance and advisory aspects
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to clearly explain complex tax matters in understandable terms
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in IT, particularly with intermediate Excel skills
