This firm is seeking an Expatriate Tax Manager to join its team. The role involves collaborating with the Mobility team to provide outstanding client service, demonstrating advanced tax technical expertise. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients with expatriates entering and leaving the UK.

Joining our Integrated Mobility team offers excellent opportunities for cultivating client relationships and managing a diverse range of issues beyond tax compliance and advisory. The role requires working within a multidisciplinary framework in international mobility, where you will collaborate with specialists in personal tax, employment tax, immigration, reward, and assignment services. Your responsibilities include advising clients on their international assignments, short-term business travel, and cross-border remote work programs.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced expatriate tax practitioner with strong technical skills and a desire for further professional development. The role demands excellent communication abilities, both written and oral, along with strategic and commercial awareness. A proactive and flexible attitude, the ability to work well under pressure, and strong project management skills are essential. Relevant qualifications such as ATT, ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA, or Law (or their equivalents) are required, along with experience in mobility or mobility compliance, particularly in tax compliance and advisory.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients, delivering mobility tax projects, ensuring technical excellence, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will collaborate with colleagues across various service lines to identify and pursue mobility opportunities.
