This firm is seeking a professional and experienced Expatriate Tax Manager to join them.
In this role, you will oversee and manage a portfolio of clients' tax compliance and advisory services. You will exhibit a strong passion for your area of expertise and enjoy imparting knowledge to colleagues, ensuring the highest level of service is delivered to our clients. Dual qualification in US/UK tax systems is required, along with a proven track record of providing exceptional personalised service to clients.
This firms dual-qualified US/UK tax professionals who assist expatriates, both individuals and businesses, in managing their financial outcomes and minimizing tax liabilities. The team possesses comprehensive knowledge of both tax systems and has experience handling relocations ranging from solo professionals to large groups of employees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of up to 150 clients, with tasks delegated to junior staff and consultation with Directors as needed.
- Contributing to the development of the firm’s expatriate practice by participating in presentations to potential clients, seminars, and individual interviews.
- Offering technical guidance to staff and addressing complex technical issues as requested by clients.
- Mentoring junior team members, overseeing their work and progress, and assisting in resolving any challenges they encounter.
- Ensuring the quality of work produced by junior members meets the standards required by the team and the firm.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Dual handler (Enrolled Agent/ATT) qualified
- Proficient in preparing, reviewing, and filing UK and US tax returns
- Demonstrated management skills, including experience in coaching and mentoring
- Familiarity with the MS Office suite
- Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities
