This firm seeks accomplished professionals to join their specialised corporate and business taxation team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with leadership, contributing to both advisory and compliance functions through meticulous preparation and review processes. Under supervision, the role involves drafting calculations, reports, and correspondence for senior-level scrutiny. Key responsibilities encompass developing critical client documentation, addressing financial constraints, and participating in diverse tax projects spanning advisory and compliance domains.

The client portfolio is diverse, encompassing small enterprises, large corporations with turnovers in the hundreds of millions, owner-managed businesses, international group subsidiaries, charitable organisations, and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs).

Essential qualifications include recent professional services experience, in-depth corporate and business tax knowledge, and ACA/ACCA/ATT certification or equivalent expertise. The position demands robust skills in tax compliance, advisory services, and technical planning, coupled with advanced proficiency in Excel and Word. Familiarity with Alphatax or CCH software is advantageous.

The successful applicant will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, extensive corporate and business taxation experience in a professional context, and expertise in areas such as Corporation Tax Returns, remuneration planning, business acquisitions and disposals, group restructuring, R&D tax credits, and cross-border issues. Additionally, involvement in tax due diligence and M&A transactions, in collaboration with the Corporate Finance team, is highly desirable.
