The Corporate Tax Manager's primary function is to support the Tax Partner in providing tax compliance and advisory services to office clients, with a focus on maximising fee income and generating new business opportunities. This position entails overseeing the tax compliance function and staff, ensuring efficient production and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying client opportunities
Generating new leads and securing tax advisory work
Managing client portfolios
Overseeing corporate tax computation production
Supervising team members to ensure timely and budget-compliant work completion
Addressing tax queries from senior management
Conducting consultancy and advisory work
Facilitating interdepartmental communication
Participating in client meetings and presentations as required

Qualifications and skills:

CTA or ACA qualified with 3-5 years post-qualification experience
Proven technical tax knowledge
Generalist experience in corporate and personal tax within an OMB context
Compliance and advisory expertise
Understanding of audit and accountancy principles
Proficiency in relevant software applications
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commercial acumen and client relationship management abilities
Leadership and team management capabilities
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
