Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
The firm is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team, primarily responsible for overseeing compliance and reporting in the financial services industry. Key duties involve ensuring regulatory compliance, handling internal audits, and producing detailed financial reports. This position requires strong attention to detail and a solid grasp of financial regulations. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape and execute compliance strategies, helping the firm maintain top-tier industry standards.
KEY DUTIES:
- Overseeing the compliance framework and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met
- Conducting internal audits and risk assessments
- Preparing and reviewing financial reports for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement compliance strategies
- Providing guidance and training to junior staff on compliance matters
- Staying updated with changes in financial regulations and ensuring the firm’s practices are aligned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience in financial services compliance and reporting
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- Professional qualification in finance or accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
