Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

A leading firm is looking for a Tax Director to join their team. The role focuses on offering expert guidance to management teams, particularly on employment-related securities, capital gains tax, and income tax for individuals involved in transactions. Key responsibilities include cultivating and sustaining client relationships, driving business development efforts, and overseeing complex consulting projects. The position also requires mentoring junior staff and actively participating in team initiatives.


KEY DUTIES:
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients
- Proactive business development to secure new work
- Managing the successful delivery of technically complex consulting projects
- Providing development support to junior team members through supervision, coaching, and mentoring
- Contributing to team initiatives, including retention and training
- Ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-driven approach

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:
- ACA / CTA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification, or equivalent knowledge
- Strong tax technical skills in the management taxes area
- Proven track record in advising on management taxes
- Business development skills, with the ability to identify and convert new business
- Experience in coaching and developing junior staff
