This Top 20 firm seeks an M&A Tax Partner to join them in London. They offer a role that involves overseeing teams in the comprehensive delivery of tax due diligence and M&A structuring services.

The primary function of this role is to manage complex tax due diligence assignments and provide M&A structuring advice. Responsibilities include coordinating with various tax specialists and international teams, marketing combined financial and tax due diligence projects and cultivating client relationships. Additionally, this role involves strategic and operational leadership, including shaping the future of the transactions tax team and enhancing service quality through process improvement and team training.

KEY DUTIES:
- Overseeing the execution of complex tax due diligence assignments, including corporation tax due diligence services
- Coordinating with VAT, employment taxes, and other specialised tax services, as well as international teams, to manage the overall tax due diligence process
- Collaborating with the transaction services team to market and secure new combined financial and tax due diligence projects
- Cultivating client relationships through engagements and proactively identifying post-deal opportunities
- Leading the delivery of tax advisory structuring services, managing complex tax advisory assignments
- Assisting in shaping the future of the transactions tax team, working with transaction tax partners to design and implement growth strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Holds a relevant professional qualification such as ACA or CTA (or equivalent)
- Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of key tax issues in transactions
- Experienced in transaction-related work
- Possesses strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead teams on complex assignments
- Provides support and guidance to others, sharing expertise and constructive feedback
