About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm seeks an Insurance Tax Manager to join them. The main function of this role is to provide expert tax support and guidance within the insurance sector. The responsibilities include managing tax compliance and advisory services for insurance clients, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and providing strategic tax planning. The role also involves conducting internal quality control reviews, liaising with tax authorities, and performing due diligence on potential acquisitions. Although the team does not serve external clients, it occasionally assists with client advisory projects as required.
KEY DUTIES:
- Managing tax compliance and advisory services for insurance clients
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Providing strategic tax planning and guidance
- Conducting internal quality control reviews
- Liaising with tax authorities and handling inquiries
- Performing due diligence on potential acquisitions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent
- Extensive experience in insurance tax within a professional services environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
