Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager to contribute to the growth and development of their Financial Services team across National Markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a diverse range of activities, primarily focused on tax audit work, while also supporting the expansion of the practice and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering tax audit services, while also engaging in a variety of projects across the organisation’s network. A significant aspect of this role involves assisting the partner group in expanding the practice, cultivating strong client connections within the existing and prospective client base. The dynamic nature of working in practice demands an individual who thrives in a varied environment and seeks out such challenges. Adaptability and agility in managing multiple projects and working with different teams are essential.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Overseeing the successful delivery of tax projects with an emphasis on technical excellence and a business-oriented approach.
  • Managing the end-to-end process for clients in your portfolio, from identifying opportunities to final delivery.
  • Serving as the primary contact for clients within your portfolio.
  • Collaborating with a diverse group of professionals, both internally and externally, across global locations.
  • Providing insightful and comprehensive advice to clients on a range of tax-related issues.
  • Maintaining high standards of client service.
  • Proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities for new business.
  • Assisting in business development by managing existing clients and contributing to new client acquisition.

Required Qualifications

  • A positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
  • Commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
  • ACA / ACCA / CA / CTA / law or equivalent qualifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK corporation tax issues.
  • Experience in a compliance and reporting environment within practice or industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven experience in project management.

  • Experience within a Financial Services tax environment.
