This firm is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Senior Manager to enhance and expand the Financial Services team across National Markets. The successful candidate will have a crucial role in delivering tax audit services while engaging in a variety of tasks across the firm's network. A key component of this position is to assist the partner group in strengthening the practice and cultivating strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients. Given the ever-evolving nature of the work, the ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and eagerly embraces new challenges. Flexibility and adaptability in managing diverse projects and collaborating with different teams are essential qualities for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful execution of tax projects, ensuring both technical precision and a practical, business-oriented approach.
  • Manage the entire process for the clients in your portfolio, from identifying opportunities to final delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in your portfolio.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across the globe.
  • Provide insightful and strategic advice to clients on various tax-related issues.
  • Ensure the highest standards of client service.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Support business development efforts by managing current client relationships and contributing to securing new clients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A positive and adaptable attitude towards work.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CTA, law degree, or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK corporation tax.
  • Experience in a compliance and reporting role, within either practice or industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients.
  • Strong project management abilities.
