About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm is seeking a creative, innovative, and driven individual with a passion for career advancement to join its Corporate Tax team as a Senior. This role offers the chance to work with an experienced team, contribute meaningfully to client relationships, and make an impact through a proactive and strategic approach to corporate tax within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Contribute to building and maintaining key client relationships by delivering exceptional client service and fostering trust.
- Technical Excellence: Ensure a high level of technical competence and a practical, business-focused approach on all projects to deliver optimal results.
- Opportunity Identification and Development: Leverage knowledge from previous projects, knowledge-sharing sessions, and technical training to provide valuable input for new projects and proposals.
- Relationship Building: Develop and use relationship management skills to establish strong connections with both clients and colleagues, creating robust external and internal networks.
- Mentorship and Development: Guide and develop junior staff through effective delegation, coaching, and on-the-job training to support their professional growth.

Qualifications:

Essential:
- Proven experience in corporate tax within a large accountancy firm, law firm, HMRC, or an in-house tax team.
- Holds any of the following qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CA, or CTA (or equivalent knowledge base, such as a law qualification).
- Graduate-level education or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred:
- Experience in project management.
