About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Financial Services Tax Senior Manager to join its dynamic team. In this strategic role, the successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in tax regulation and financial services to provide innovative solutions for a range of high-profile clients, including banks, asset managers, and insurance companies. As a senior leader within the team, this role will have the responsibility to shape and deliver complex tax advisory projects while supporting the firm’s growth in this high-impact area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements and manage relationships with high-value financial services clients, offering strategic advice on tax compliance and planning.
- Provide technical guidance on a variety of issues, including corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and international tax, specific to financial services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the development of the firm’s financial services tax offerings.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, enhancing the team’s technical expertise and fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and industry developments, ensuring clients receive current and compliant advice.
- Drive efficiency in processes and optimize the delivery of tax services to clients.
Requirements
- ACA, CTA, or equivalent qualification with substantial experience in financial services tax.
- Proven experience in managing complex client relationships within the financial services sector.
- Strong technical knowledge in corporate tax, international tax, VAT, and transfer pricing.
- A track record of business development and delivering successful growth within a similar role.
- Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
